Our Process

Week 1–2

Discovery & Consultation

You reach out to discuss your project—whether it's a new home, restaurant, retail space, or office. We walk you through our fees, services, and process in detail, then schedule a meeting (in person or virtual) to see if we're the right fit for each other.

2.

Week 2-3

Project Kick-Of

Once we agree to move forward, we sign the contract and collect the deposit. In our kick-off meeting, we take a deep dive into your project goals, budget, timeline, and any research documents or inspiration you have. This sets the foundation for everything that follows.

Week 3-6

Concept & Floor Plan Development

Our team creates the first floor plans and design concepts...

months 2-5

Permit-Ready Drawings & Approval

With your sign-off, we prepare the complete architectural drawings you'll submit to the city for your building permit. The city review process typically takes around 8 weeks, and we address any deficiencies they identify until the permit is approved.

months 5-10

Material Selection & Specifications

Our team creates the first floor plans and design concepts, then presents them for your feedback. Over roughly four weeks, we refine the layouts through collaborative back-and-forth until the design feels right.

6.

months 10-20

Construction Supervision & Completion

With your sign-off, we prepare the complete architectural drawings you'll submit to the city for your building permit. The city review process typically takes around 8 weeks, and we address any deficiencies they identify until the permit is approved.
